Objective

The objective of the EW2011 is to bring out the collective contribution of various engineering professions and to promote them as disciplines for the good of the community of Hong Kong. This is particularly important among the young generation, whose attraction to the professions is critical in ensuring continuous engineering excellence to help drive our world forward. Engineering is much more relevant to our daily lives than perhaps it is given credit for. Considering the macro and local issues faced by the community, EW2011 will focus on energy, transport and the environment, exploring and showcasing possible, often fun and innovative engineering solutions!
